Inside hollywood: the Internship class
Each student’s internship while at LAFSC contributes to a 6 credit hour course, Inside Hollywood. This class includes career coaching, resume design, and portfolio building, as well as reflection assignments, readings, and discussions throughout the semester.
Students intern 3 days a week, totaling 20-24 hours weekly. LAFSC faculty support students in securing industry internships. LAFSC has 35+ years of industry connections that we leverage to place students at internships that support their career aspirations and interests.
LAFSC faculty meet virtually with each student as soon as they are accepted into the program to start the internship search process, workshopping resumes and application strategies together. In other words, the earlier you apply for the program, the more opportunities you have to secure your internship!
